The Nobel Prize in Physics, 2018, was awarded to three American, French and Canadian scientists, Arthur Ashkin, Gerard Mourou and Donna Strickland for their laser physics research.
The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences announced on Tuesday, October 2, that the nine millionth anniversary prize for Nobel Prize in Physics will be awarded to these three scientists for their revolutionary innovations in the field of powerful laser pulses.
Dr.Strickland has been Dr. Sharifi’s (Lumicision’s CEO) former supervisor at PhD level.
